Original artists can remove their themes

I woke up to some great news this morning, thanks to my friend Chris (HardWire). As it turns out, YouTube is honoring copyright claims from the original artists behind the work that DRWHOremixer has stolen. If your mix is one of the mixes DRWHOremixer has ripped off, please go to YouTube and submit a copyright claim for your mix. Once again, I implore you to take action and not let DRWHOremixer get away with this. Take those mixes down!

Update

While YouTube will seemingly honor copyright claims, DRWHOremixer is now filing counterclaims which is getting the mixes put back online. The audacity of this individual continues to amaze. Unfortunately, while copyright claims may succeed in getting your mix taken down in the short term, it won’t actually hold up if challenged, as a special license must be purchased to distribute a cover version of a piece of music.
